Not American, nor did I read the article, but I'm just commenting on that you are using a conservative "news" site that has had controversy for ties to white supremacists and encouragement of violence against protesters, and not to mention climate change denial. Why should I believe this?

reply

... and you have 10x the comments this poster has. This is just someone dropping in to create trouble, likely a foreign subversive.

reply

Then you have no skin in the game and should worry about your own country.

reply

What does worrying about my own country have to do with anything? I'm simply stating that if an individual would like someone to take what they are posting seriously they should post from a credible site. I don't care where you are from or where in the political spectrum you fall. If you are going to post from a site that is biased, at least cite more that one source to back your claim.

You're 100% right sslssg. Ignore the haters.

You're as entitled as anyone to talk about US politics. After all, for better or worse (often, alas, worse) their politics affects the rest of the world, even if the rest of the world has no vote in the matter.

Anyway, I've come around. I've started to like Nancy. She's demonstrated that the civilised and moderate approach works. She's refused to come down to Trump's level. Even if she's still too centrist for my tastes, her reasonable and non-partisan approach works.

Thanks for the laugh.

Can it with the hyperbole kid, I have been watching the network for years and have never once heard and endorsement for white supremacy. That's just a liberal buzz word that they use to label anyone they disagree with. Also simply not supporting trillions of dollars in GW spending doesn't make you a climate denier.

Nancy Pelosi is incredibly popular in America. The USA Today, which is the most fair and balanced news outlet in the world, did a poll just a few months ago and she enjoyed a 71% approval rate. Even among Republicans it was 42%. She is maybe the most beloved political figure since JFK.

reply

That's a pretty good analogy, considering what her district in San Francisco is like.

A common nickname I've heard for her is Nancy "Pig"losi.
