Oh okay that’s who that is. He did have a great voice. Soulful voice put to hard rock. Kind of like Paul Rogers.

I can't believe his death has hardly been reported by the music media,he was a legendary rock singer of a band that was a major influence on a lot of rock bands. RIP Dan McCafferty
shareEveryone's mentioning "Hair of the Dog" and "Love Hurts", but it was a later hit from the 2XS album, "Love leads to Madness", that made me a fan.
shareAs a boomer & long time fan of their earlier stuff , I was a bit disappointed in the more "pop" direction they took in the late 70s/early 80s, but that one was the absolute best from that period, and should've been a much bigger hit than it was.
