his last season?

it might be time to move on

reply

He won't be fired mid season but I see a mutual parting of ways happening. His legacy is very respected that I don't see him getting fired.

reply

Wow, the Patriots got smashed today. Honestly, Belichick's record without Brady is not very impressive. Overrated coach maybe?

They won't fire him mid season though, but this is probably his last go at it in NE.

reply

He's now moving on from New England but wants to keep coaching.

reply

Where do we reckon he'll go? San Diego seems like a possible landing point. Chicago would be another.

reply

I just hope we see New England break boundaries by hiring a black female head coach

reply

For fuck's sake no. Women are biologically not capable of leading men in a sport they can't play with dudes two to three times their size. We are not the fucking same.

reply

My college professor told me a person can be anything they want, including changing their gender

reply

An even better scenario would be if they do exactly that, she leads them to a division title, and in a press conference the day before the first playoff game, she pulls off her wig, wipes away her makeup, and reveals herself to be Bill Belichick. He Tootsied / Mrs. Doubtfired them!

reply

Your college professor predicts that a former New England Patriots assistant coach will be hired.

reply

My college professor told me that Bill Belichick could become the next Carolina Panthers D Coordinator after they hire a new head coach

reply

washington

reply

I think maybe he goes back to New England

reply

that doesn't make sense

reply

New England needs a head coach and Belichick has a proven track record.

reply

Exactly

reply

I think he changes his mind

reply

vrabel is going to new england

reply

I think Vrabel is going back to Tennessee. The owner will change his mind about firing him

reply

right

reply

I know more about football than most people

reply

i can tell

reply

The San Diego Chargers moved to Los Angeles in 2017.

reply

Yeah, but like most people I still forget that and think of them as the San Diego Chargers. Same with the Redskins. I never remember to call them the Commanders.

reply

Can you please not type that word again regarding their previous team name

reply

They've always been the Chargers as far as I know.

reply

I was referring to the team that plays in Washington

reply

No promises. I legit forget they aren't the Redskins anymore.

reply

I’m not a Patriots fan, but I think he earned the right to stay there as long as he wanted.

reply

Nah. NFL is a buisness and he wasn't producing results.

reply

No one is going to produce the results he had over the last 20 years. You have to keep that in mind when you replace someone. Based on what he did with that organization. He deserved a bit of leeway to rebuild. The only reason there were any expectations was because of him.
