Interesting how the world is looking to Germany as the leader of the west now.

With the British off on their Boris, Brexit, pandemic bender and the Americans constantly failing with maniacs like Trump and Bush the world looks to Germany more and more as the Americans and British become more and more eccentric. Germany is the first country to go >100% renewable energy after all, one of the few countries in the world that produces and exports more than it imports and is seen as a stabilizing pillar in the west.

Exactly. War is obsolete. Any engagement with the Chinese, Russians or Iran would lead to annihilation. Trump nearly attacked Iran which would have sparked a war with the other two. He was an utter fucking madman and did the bidding of the Israelis.

That is one of the dumbest comments I have heard from you ... and lately you have said some very questionable things. We spend the last decades talking about how stupid Russia was to get bogged down in Afghanistan .... and now we, the leaders of the world - because of our military just screwed up another one, and drove the economy and budget into the crapper. Meanwhile news is today that 1/2 million US household do not have indoor plumbing? You right-wingers are crazy.

Germany does not have a large military. They rely on America for protection. They should spend more on their own defense and America can bring the troops home.

That 100% was brief. The true number is around 35%. And since they have no real military and they are such a small country they don't have anywhere near the energy demands of larger countries. But good for them. I am all for renewable, as long as it doesn't destroy the economy in the process.
