The Presidential Immunity Argument is a bad idea

If the Supreme Court allows it, Joe Biden can literally throw infinite coup attempts and not be prosecuted if he loses.

reply

Biden already has immunity. The Deep State and Joe stole an election and no one is allowed to question it.

reply

Even with entertaining this argument, why would this still be a good thing? Wouldn't this just make it even harder to prosecute anyone legally?

reply

Wouldn't this just make it even harder to prosecute anyone legally?

Only a Dem since we have a two-tiered justice system.

reply

Its easy to prosecute a Republican. To date not one democrat has been prosecuted or jailed since Nov 2016. Anyone that is associated to Trump has been investigated, prosecuted or jailed.

Basically democrats have full immunity and can say and do anything they want.

reply

Thats because its not democrats trying to fix the election resutls , and then when that fails trying to take power by force.

once again before you say it , democrats rigging the 202 is pure fiction - otherwise they would be being prosecuted for it .
DJT's crimes however are many and documented.

reply

Dems tried to take the 2016 election by force by creating a false narrative that Russia stole the election. The Mueller report was intended to remove Trump by office. When that failed, 2 fake impeachments were created to remove Trump from office. Dems finally succeeded when they rigged the 2020 election.

Not one democrat was ever charged with lying to the Gov. Although Hillary was fined a whopping $8,000 by the SEC.

reply

The GOP was not interested at all in charging any democrat, with anything, or any crime. Trump made that clear when he broke his promise to put Clinton in prison, as soon as he was elected in 2016.

reply

Senator Menedez is probably going to jail. However the difference is that the center left are institutionalists meaning that the courts will generally like them over a bunch MAGA "revolutionaries" and Antifa losers.

reply

Menedez is not going to jail. Dems will never put one of their own in prison.

reply

Anthony Weiner (D-NY) was convicted of sending sexually explicit photos of himself to a 15-year-old girl and was mandated to register as a sex offender. He also was sentenced to 21 months in prison, a sentence that was later reduced to 18 months. He reported to prison in November 2017 and was released in May 2019.

Corrine Brown (D-FL) was convicted on 18 felony counts of wire and tax fraud, conspiracy, lying to federal investigators, and other corruption charges.

Your lies are so easy to prove wrong. Would it kill you to just put a bit more effort into your lies?

When a person commits a crime in such a public manner as so many politicians do, it is no wonder that they are rounded up, indicted, tried and sentenced to prison.

The vast majority of Trump associates have escaped prosecution simply because they were not caught violating any laws. How many people in the country have been associated with Trump? Thousands I'm sure. How many are indicted or behind bars; a couple dozen perhaps?

See how easy that is? In the immortal words of Chris Rock, "Think of the laws as hints, I wouldn't do that shit if I were you".

Some people can take a hint and stay out of trouble. Other people cannot. Sucks to be them.

Biden already has immunity.
"IT'S A TRAP" statement! With two parts that you're getting ready to throw out there. 😉
The Deep State and Joe stole an election and
Part 1. First there is the having to DISPROVE the existence of a Deep State, hiding in plain sight, making grand moves that befuddle the average and above average MAGA-Forevers.

Part 2. of the obfuscation and distraction then kicks in and someone has to now DISPROVE that something didn't happen. 🤔

Here is the clever and unintentionally ingenious part of your little word game.
no one is allowed to question it.
You're and everyone else is Clearly allowed to question anything and everything you want. Otherwise, the words delusions and conspiracy would have no meaning for you.

You're just not free to lie in courts of law and or attempt to use the Courts as investigative fact finders.

reply

You are allowed to question it. You're not actually afraid to question it are you?

Trump claims he has immunity for his crimes. Do you accept this? Would you accept it if Biden just canceled elections because "a president can do anything they want", according to Trump?

reply

Trump claims he has immunity for his crimes.

Bogus charges of non-existent crimes and false accusations. Biden is actually guilty of those crimes.

reply

What do charges and accusations have to do with Trump's claims that he is immune? If Trump is supposed to be immune, do you want Biden to have the same immunity?

reply

It has everything to do with it since Trump doesn’t need immunity one way or the other.

The fact that Biden's crimes are real does not make it "impossible" to prosecute him, even if Trump receives immunity for bogus charges.

reply

You say Trump does not need immunity, but Trump is crying and sobbing about how he is immune, to any court that is willing to listen. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/10/19/trump-immunity-defense-defy-history-00122639

Trump says he is entitled to and wants immunity, why are you calling him a liar?

Who is suggesting that it is impossible to prosecute Biden?

reply

He is entitled, but he doesn't need it.

reply

Trump says he does. You persist in calling Trump a liar. Why?

Why is Trump entitled to immunity for crimes he may have committed while president? Is Biden entitled also? Or is that entitlement reserved for Trump and other RINO's.

Trump also claims he can do anything he wants as president. Do you think that is right?

Does this mean it is okay for Biden (or another president) to do anything he wants, including canceling elections, dismissing Congress and the Supreme Court and installing himself as dictator. Then after he is deposed, just claim immunity?

If it sounds insane, it is because it is insane. But that appears to be what you want.

reply

You tell so many lies, you better check if your pants are on fire.

reply

So tell me then, what lies did I tell on this page?

Pants not on fire.

reply

The question that you should ask is: "what lies did I not tell on this page"

reply

So you have nothing. Just as I thought. :)

reply

Ranb: "So tell me then, what lies did I not tell on this page?"

reply

and making harder for RFK Jr to get on the debate Biden Adminstration didnt even grant him a secret service protection both Democrats and Republican parties are dangerous.

reply

Ha, it was questioned about 60 times in courts all over the country - and found to be BS.

reply

Why wasn't it questioned by the democrats? Why didn't Nancy not say that Russia hijacked the election?

Who was the Special Counsel in charge of the investigation?

reply

Despite the MSM lies that 60+ election challenges found no evidence of wrongdoing, there were actually 92 cases, with only 31 decided on the merits, and of those 31, Trump and/or the GOP plaintiff prevailed in 23 of them.

reply

Almost all the cases that were brought in support of Trump's false allegations of election tampering were dropped because of lack of evidence.
What is left are cases of 1s and 2s who voted twice, and almost universally by Republicans.

reply

They still won in 23 of the cases.

reply

yes , the idea that the president has as much power as an old testament king is f****g ludicrous
only Trump is dumb enough to use that as a defence.
His lawyers probly comtemplate quitting eveytime he tweets that bullshit
although he doesent really have any other defence.

reply

Trump is just as dangerous as Biden RFK Jr 2024!!!!

reply

we got him this time

reply

Presidential immunity has one exception: Treason.

Trump is neither charged nor guilty of treason; however, the following are already guilty of treason:

- Joseph R. Biden Jr.
- Barack Obama
- George W. Bush
- William J. Clinton
- George H. W. Bush

reply

You forgot Ronald Reagan and his Iran Contra for some reason.

reply

That was the DS and RINO members of the swamp:

In violation of the Boland Amendment, senior officials of the Reagan administration continued to secretly arm and train the Contras and provide arms to Iran, an operation they called "the Enterprise".

reply

I bet it was.
