North Korea and China playing Trump like a Fiddle

Two powers whom Trump has derided constantly, now coming together in 'denuclearization,' and Trump and his supporters are falling for it hook, line and sinker.

I assert that Kim Jong Un is going to be treated to the Chinese version of the “New World Oder”, which does not include North Korea’s lobbying ICBM’s toward valued Chinese trade partners.

I also believe that China now senses it can no longer use North Korean crazy against the United States effectively, so a united and economically healthy Korea might now be in its strategic interest.

In other words, the era of Chinese strategic patience with North Korea is over.

so a united and economically healthy Korea might now be in its strategic interest.

I think every one by now is under no illusion that there will ever be a united Korea. The economy is too poor for Korea to join any state as of right now. For example during the provocative build up between the US and the DPRK recently china actually places military assets on the DPRKs northern border not to invade or defend the DPRK but to prevent millions of refugees from fleeing into mainland china. South Korea would also not be able to sustain the shock of absorbing the DPRKs population. To put things into perspective look at the power grid photograph below to contrast the north and the south.

With the exception of pyong yang the DRPK is nearly indistinguishable from the yellow see to its west.

People don't live in the dark areas of south korea where as the north nearly every body lives in the dark.

In terms of the DPRKs population the best option now would be to replace the current DPRK regime and remove its hermit like policies so it can grow economically. Its economy of course will never be on par with South Korea and China of the north but at a certain point during its growth it won't need to be nor will any one desire for it to be annexed by either the south or the north. Reunification of Korea is just nonsense and a non starter. The DPRKs population is in for a culture shock should it ever be free from its communication and economic black out its currently in. It would be as if the US one day woke up and found out it was in a conspiracy in which the year was actually 2084 and the rest of the world were had near super power status and comfterbal living etc.

See, the thing is, you can’t say that without admitting that you thought the TPP was a good idea. That makes you the biggest chump of all.

reply

He also didn't turn in his TPS reports correctly.

reply

None of you opposed the TPP. Only Bernie and his supporters did. Hillary and Trump merely pretended to be against it.

Trump canceled the TPP and then negotiated it into NAFTA hoping his idiot supporters wouldn't notice (they didn't) while making the establishment happy.

reply

Are you really going to pretend that the mainstream media wasn’t all in on the TPP? Is it just a coincidence that every time I read one of your posts, you just happen to be crucifying the alternative media, the side that opposed the TPP, the bailouts, the wars, etc... and you just happen to be defending the mainstream that promoted the TPP, the bailouts, the wars? Inforwars opposed the TPP and they’re your worst enemy. I understand you don’t like Alex Jones because he “peddles conspiracy theories”. So imagine how I must feel about the mainstream media for peddling multi trillion dollar wars. Imagine how I must feel about you, for continuing to defend them even now! You’re worse than they are. NBC told you Trump is being played by China, oh really? NBC WANTED us to be played by China ya low level scammer!

Here’s a perfect example of how pathetic your lies are. Two brief sentences is all it took for you to accuse Trump supporters of both being for the TPP and being against the TPP. They had to be for the TPP so you could say they’re the establishment, and they had to be against the TPP so you could say they were fools who got played... both at the same time somehow. You couldn’t resist.

reply

The hell are you talking about? I'm not calling Trump supporters the establishment. I'm saying they didn't actually care about what Trump was talking about regarding the TPP. They merely liked the fact that he was confident about it.

When he turned around and sneaked TPP into NAFTA, they proved that they never really cared about TPP. The Republican establishment didn't care that he put TPP into NAFTA, and the Democratic establishment didn't care that he put TPP into NAFTA either.

The only groups who criticize Trump for putting TPP into NAFTA are Bernie supporters and Rand Paul supporters who never jumped on the Trumpwagon.

reply

They aren't "falling" for anything you imbecile. The North will be bombed into the Stone Age if they fail to denuclearize. Trump's "Fire and Fury" threat still stands.

reply

You and Trump have already fell for the trap. Kim Jong Un's father's whole purpose of having a nuclear stockpile was to scare the US and idiot-boy Bush into giving North Korea something in return for denuclearizing. When Bush went out and Kim Jong Il died, that plan went out.

"Trump's "Fire and Fury" threat still stands."

This statement proves it. You somehow think Kim Jong Un has an incentive to attack. His own country would assassinate him for such a thing, and China would be the first to reign "Fire and Fury" before Trump could even put down his cheeseburger.

reply

They say you can't cheat an honest man, which is why Trump is such a chump.

reply

China has no interests in allowing its child state in developing nuclear weapons and km jung un is just trying to get support china will back him up if he's attacked. Too bad we don't know what china's response to kim really was.

reply

North Korea has no interest in their nuclear weapons program either except to sell their removal of it. I doubt China is stupid enough to fall for the sale of something that NK doesn't have a use for, but we'll see.

reply

North Korea wants nuclear weapons for the same reason every other nation wants them. First as a deterrent to ensure the regime will never be attacked in a nuclear or conventional war (Despite not being attacked for 50 plus years) as second to be able to make political demands in the future via its nuclear posturing.

If you think political posturing and a deterrent are not a use for nuclear weapons then what do you think the US and other nuclear nations are doing with nuclear weapons.

I'm not sure what your comment mean in terms of china. China is the parent state for the DPRK and could easily get involved in a proxy war if it is forced to defend the DPRK should Kim Jung Un force the US to attack..

The meeting with china was most likely so Kim Jung ill could gauge how much support china will give him before he "meets" with trump. IE he needs chinas military support if his regime is to survive a US led attack. Even by now Kim Jung must be aware that china is not looking forward to defending his nation as kim jungs provocation is pretty obvious This meeting must have been important as Kim Jung Un had never left the DPRK since he took power. Kim Jung Un has always been paranoid of China even going as far as executing family members on the charge that they were spies for china. The fact that he met with china and willing to meet the US with out the typical threatening statements shows he's must be really spooked about a US attack and is in a fairly desperate situation. And no I don't give trump any credit for this perception on kim jung uns part. Its one thing to take a stand against the DPRK but name calling actually makes the US appear less serious about dealing with the DPRK.

Whats even more interesting would be kim jungs perception that the US and China are actually the ones negotiating a post Kim Jung Un regime that while would clearly to be loyal to China and still be a satellite state there of but a regime not nearly as threatening to the US or other nations in the region. Kim Jung is the step child even china doesn't want to deal with.
