CHICAGO -- The only Black juror on the panel that convicted Jussie Smollett of lying to Chicago police said he couldn't get past what the actor did not do after he claimed attackers looped a noose around his neck: Rip it off and keep it off.

“As an African American person, I'm not putting that noose back on at all, " Andre Hope told WLS-TV. At trial, Smollett testified that after the attack in downtown Chicago in January 2019, he returned home and put the rope back around his neck so police who came to his apartment soon after could see it...."When you just use your common sense as what’s there, yeah it just, it didn’t add up,” said Hope a 63-year-old father of two who lives in suburban Bellwood, west of Chicago.

..In an interview with NewsNation Now after Smollett was found guilty last Thursday, Eddie Johnson — who was Chicago police superintendent in January 2019 when Smollett said he was attacked — said virtually the same thing.

“I was concerned because I don’t think there’s many Black people in America with a noose around their neck and wouldn’t immediately take it off,” Johnson said.

The cops said this too. So many red flags.

The biggest red flag for me was this: Someone yelled out, "Aren't you that f***ot 'Empire' n*****?"

Until this story broke, I had no idea who Jussie Smollett was. There's zero chance that "MAGAts" would recognize him as that "f***ot 'Empire' n*****" under any circumstances.

Much less in the wee hours of the morning in freezing temperatures where people tend to put their heads down and just want to get to where they're going.

So many red flags, but that one had to be the dumbest.

Another flag for me was who the hell would intentionally go out for a Subway sandwich at that time of night in sub zero temps. Sure, if you're going home and passing the place, maybe. But I'd literally rather go hungry than eat that crap, and I certainly wouldn't leave my warm house with temps below zero.

Did they just "recognize" him? So the MAGA perps just randomly ran into him at that specific moment and conveniently had bleech and a noose at hand to attack him spontaneously? Or was it all premeditated? But then how did they know he was gonna be there? Lol, you can't make this stuff up. Oh wait, you can...

Jussie's official statement is that he wanted to buy "eggs", but the grocery store was closed, at 2am in the morning in negative degree weather.

Subway just happened to be his alternative, per his official statements.

But he had the sense to pick up his sandwich off the ground before 'retreating' home.

This whole event and its effects on society are very detrimental, nonetheless.
