I get that you're disappointed, but a space will never grow if people expect it to come out of nowhere. All places are dead until enough people find it. If there already was a satisfactory replacement you all wouldn't be drifting from place to place looking for it.

exactly... so if imdb itself was dead... how is any replacement going to possibly compare? People need to readjust their expectations and be content with lower traffic in general... otherwise they may as well just go to a general board like Reddit or social network like Facebook or Instagram. If they want a specialized board they need to patiently help build one.
shareI have no interest in Beyonce, just saw this on Trending, but I agree with you, and hardly think MC is dead. Compared to IMDB, sure. But given this is still a very new site, I find it remarkable that the Trending section is as active as it is, and is still gaining momentum.
Anyway, to those Beyonce fans, whom I gather have recently discovered MC and are now posting here, welcome!

Sorry if it felt as though I'm picking on you seeing as you are only saying how you feel... however, I've gone to the different boards and not just you but many people don't say anything about movies or tv but mostly complain about how there is no traffic. If that's what most people say it will become a self fulfilling prophecy.

I agree completely. Every online community I've been to (roughly 5 including this, most of them have been shut down by now), there have been people complaining that it's dead. If you're so concerned, then strike up conversations! Breathe some life into the boards! Make some noise!
