Hollywood at the time must have seen marketability in the couple's on-screen/off-screen romance once 'Pearl Harbor' wrapped up. That said, I have no idea how influential Ben Affleck was in securing her the 'Elektra' role.

hey these things happen. you just never hear about it because then the producers and directors and casting agents and casting companies wouldn't get as much credit and power. i just find it hard to believe that ben and jennifer coincidentally were in 2 movies in just 2 years time. to me, that means ben spoke to everyone behind casting for daredevil and made sure she got the part.
shareHer foot was certainly in the door. Hoped she worked her tail off for it. It's not like these opportunities come easily.

it's wrong that she is still playing the lead in big movies. she's too old to be doing this. she was never really liked in movies. and she's ugly now.
