No, 28 and 17 is illegal. 48 and 18 is inappropriate. But 28 and 18 is close enough in age to be cool. An 18-year-old is an adult and can make that decision.

I'm getting sick of all these smug, sanctimonious tongue-clicking, eye-rolling posts over a completely legal and appropriate relationship. If he was 82 instead of 28 you might have a point (at least in the "appropriate" sense). But he wasn't and you don't.
