Rock Star (2001) and The Departed (2006) were the only movies that he's been in that I haven't totally been irritated by him. I don't know what it is about him, but he irks me. (and I don't think he can really act even though the Academy disagrees with me)

The Departed was definitely his best film. I also thought he was good in Fear (1996).
