Best potential outcome after being found not guilty

3. Kevin making a comeback? Doubt that will happen, even though Hollywood loves a comeback story. But Kevin did say this: “I know that there are people right now who are ready to hire me the moment I am cleared of these charges.”

2. It's unlikely we will see the original "Kevin cut" of "All the Money in the World" since he was replaced by another great actor who received an Oscar nomination for the role. Additionally, the director of that film has publicly expressed his disapproval of Kevin.

Which brings me to the best possible thing we can hope will happen:

1. The release of the Netflix film "Gore," which was shot and completed before, and shelved just after the allegations against Kevin emerged in 2019. Directed by Michael Hoffman and co-starring Michael Stuhlbarg and Douglas Booth.

Lex Luthor in Superman Legacy

- "even though Hollywood loves a comeback story"
-- I don't think this is true anymore. What Hollywood loves is a downfall story.

I don't think Netflix will release Gore, they might sell it to some other streaming service. That's the best that Spacey is ever going to get. He is officially cancelled.

Perhaps, but it would be a stunning turn of events if that film were ever to be released - by any streaming service.

"What Hollywood loves is a downfall story"

True and absolutely tragic. What kind of culture celebrates someone's misery?

reply

Officially cancelled? Is that your opinion or opinion for everyone?

I'm just spittin' facts!

Didn’t answer the question

He’ll be back, there’s just too much love for Kev and it’s only really Me Too feminists and other cancel-weirdos who hate the guy.

Some edgy director will cast him in something before long. I’d love to see him work with Fincher again.

He should play Beezulbub, cuz why not?

Uh, there's no reason to believe that. He's innocent.

Sexual harassment charges are hard to prove. But Spacey was charged with actual assault and cleared.

Plus he's gay. He's not cancelled.

He's not cancelled? Surely you must be joking. Although he was found innocent in court, the sheer number of accusations against him cannot be ignored. His reputation has been utterly shattered.

Do you remember when Richard Dreyfuss’ son made that shocking claim about Kevin Spacey? He alleged that Spacey groped him while his father was present in the room. If Spacey can survive that level of creepiness and come back as the beloved Hollywood actor we once knew, then it would be a remarkable feat, challenging the boundaries of public forgiveness and personal redemption.
