Will's career is not over

'cause he's got big ears

reply

No, it's over, the mainstream is through with Smith.

Smith has done the worst thing a celebrity can do, he's revealed that he's not the likeable person he pretended to be.

reply

So, so stupid. The crowning achievement of his career brings that career to a juddering halt.

reply

ellen showed her true colors & she's still on the A-list

reply

Just so you know, she's over and her show's ending this year. The cancelling process has been slow in her case, but it seems to be pretty thorough.

reply

i wasn't up on the news of her, i just saw she was on the red carpet at the oscars with her wife and assumed she was still a-list tier celeb

reply

William Hurt was more abusive than Will Smith and he still had a career.

reply

Hurt didn't hit people in front of billions of witnesses.

reply

Neither did Weinstein.

reply

Unlike SOME people, Weinstein wasn't stupid enough to walk up to a presenter on the Oscar stage, and grab her by the pussy!

Sure, Weinstein ended up with hundreds or thousands of witnesses to malfeasance, enough to topple him, but OMFG how big an idiot do you have to be to commit a crime in front of billions of witnesses.

I'm reminded of what Slash said about Axl Rose in his autobiography: "Axl is a dramatic kind of individual. Everything he says or does has a meaning, a theatrical place in his mind, in a blown-out-of-proportion kind of way. Little things become greatly exaggerated, so that interactions with people can become magnified into major issues. The bottom line is, he has his own way of looking at things."

reply

I knew Axl Rose. Will Smith is no Axl Rose.

reply

What's your history with Axl?

reply

He was spoofing the VP debate of 1988.

reply

When they do the Obama-gets-Osama-and-becomes-a-big-hero movie he's a shoo-in for Obama.

Get the popcorn popping.
