Or rather, that was her only really good performance.

She's made good films since then, but hasn't been remarkably good in any of them, and has been remarkably bad in some. She's like so many others who "learn in front of the camera" as teens, instead of really studying the craft of acting, she's grown up to be a weak adult actor with no real technique, no in-depth understanding of her craft.
