This Movie Club will allow two things to happen:
 -people will be able to watch the same movie at the same time and interact here
-people will be able to have common movies to watch over the weekend and share reviews on my other weekly thread.   

Event #1 - Friday night, June 21st 9PM Eastern time (if you want to watch live) and event closes Sunday at 9PM (if you haven’t been able to watch live and want to share reviews in the weekly thread.)

They learn in the first one that they're special for having the visions but Death is not happy about it, so he keeps coming back for them.

It seems like the story is exploring themes of fatalism and determinism. Like, you think you can 'cheat' or escape death based on a premonition, but it's still going to get you anyway because it was all pre-determined.

Or maybe I'm adding all that in and this is just entertainment, lol.

Yeah, the more I watch and think about it, the more I suspect this was all intentional on the part of the free makers to get the audience to explore concepts of free will, choice, fate, determinism, etc.

I mean, it's even in the title 'Final Destination' lol. That's pretty on the nose.

Anyways I like this movie and wish I hadn't skipped out on this dammit.
