I mean, he's fine, but he acts the same in every damn movie. Deadpool is the only movie where it really works. 5/10

4/10 same character in every movie

Signed, million man

I enjoyed him in a movie titled "JUST FRIENDS" and then after that, I saw him in DEADPOOL, but never saw the 2nd movie, so I guess I'd rate him around 5/10.. My thing with the DEADPOOL movies is I feel like that should've just been a one and done movie and not a franchise because a movie like that relies heavily on the jokes and you can only tell the same joke over and over before it grows old.. I feel like DEADPOOL III will be like that

reply

Yes! That humour got very old very quick. The second film was enjoyable but it was more dick and x-men jokes. The next one will no doubt be entertaining, let's leave it at a trilogy, eh?

I understand that he's been typecast, but I think he can do different characters if given the chance like in Mississippi Grind, Buried, Life, or even Amityville. I just wish he'd get more of those roles. Also when his comedy isnt over the top Deadpool/ Van Wilder style I find him entertaining, like in Foolproof, or Adventureland. So... I'm going to give him a 6.5/10

reply

I don't even think he's typecast because he's actually playing different roles, but I think he's been the same in all of them

reply

Well you do tend to rate a lot of actors harshly.

In this case, I disagree.

reply

I try not to go for legitimately great actors for these.

reply

6/10. Good actor. But he does do the same "Deadpool shtick" in almost every movie. Even way before Deadpool.

He was excellent in Buried & The Voices.

But just like The Rock & Vin Diesel, he's good when he's trying/giving a damn but why bother when the same shtick is working/successful.

reply

And don't forget that he looks strange without the facial hair.

I like him a lot. He’s been very good in the few things I’ve seen him in. He has a very charming presence on screen and is very comedic.

It would feel odd but interesting to see him get a role in a serious drama or a war picture.

8/10, the guy has ‘it.’

reply

Just say you love him because he's Canadian and move on.

reply

I didn’t know he was Canadian.
They tend to be likable folks.
