New Japanese Restaurant In Town

4 1/2- 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

People I know are raving about it. What would be good to order? NO Sushi! Only cooked food. I’m not familiar with the Japanese cuisine.

reply

Tonkatsu Curry.

I thought curry was an India spice. I have no idea of its taste. I just did a search and the result is I no longer can consume spicy foods. Chili is about as spicy I can tolerate. Thanks for the input. The Royal Red shrimp I posted about always were smothered in Cajun spices. I instructed the server to sans the spices. I cannot tolerate Cajun cooking.

Tonkatsu is also good on its own, though.

Thanks all for the suggestions, but a problem has just arose…and it ain’t Wan King’s erect Union Jack or Kowalski’s whatever.
I’m looking at the menu online, but it’s all in English! I hope in the future the Japanese menu name is printed next to the English translation.

Arse ho!

Say what? 🫡 🇬🇧 Did you just call me a donkey’s butt? 😔😢

reply

Isn’t that a Japanese phrase 😉

reply

Word to the wise: that ain't guacamole. You can thank me later.

reply

Tonkatsu, chicken katsu curry and ramen are all pretty safe options for a beginner.

reply

Thanks, but as I wrote their menu is in English. A wise move on their part would be to have the menu printed with the English in parenthesis's.

Tonkatsu…..(Deep Fried Panko Breaded Pork Cutlet)

Ramen………(Noodles With Vegetables & Meat In Broth)

etc, etc,
