Eagles: "I Can't Tell You Why"
Beatles: "Here Comes The Sun"
Simon & Garfunkel: "Scarborough Fair (Canticle)"
Jefferson Airplane/Jefferson Starship/Starship: "Embryonic Journey"/"Find Your Way Back"/"Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" (one for each era)
The Allman Bros. (in memory of Dickey Betts, who passed away earlier today): "Ramblin' Man," "Blue Sky," "Little Martha."
Yes! I think we had a conversation about that not long after I started posting here. Felder is more of a "string bender" when he plays, while Frey slid into the notes. I love both solos, but I think that outro solo is probably my favorite solo of all. It's just brilliant, IMO.
Here's a video of me that I made last November for my own enjoyment (I need to get a new electric guitar 🎸 at some point!). The guitar playing in this song is just superb, IMO... I just love it!
Thank you! I didn't realize that was their last Top 10 hit. I know "The Long Run" (the album, not the song) wasn't as critically acclaimed as "Hotel California " was (and I get why), but I think "I Can't Tell You Why" is one gem of a song.
Just filled this on another forum, so all I have to do is paste.. I actually left one of my very favorites on my initial post.

I really love "Beginnings." If I had to name my favorite Chicago song, that would probably be it. "Make Me Smile" would be a close second...Terry Kath may not have had the greatest singing voice from a technical standpoint, but did he have soul and sang from the gut.
