Famous Lines In A Movie That Do Not Impress You

"Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn"

"The truth? You can't handle the truth!"

reply

"You had me at hello"

reply

To be fair, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" was a bigger deal back in 1939.

reply

“Love means never having to say you're sorry.”
Never made any sense to me whatsoever

reply

Haha. Yeah, that's a really stupid phrase and makes no sense whatsoever.

If you love someone you apologize a lot. If you don't care you don't say anything. It assumes you can only love someone if you're a perfect human being who never makes mistakes.

reply

I knew a woman who had the stance that instead of apologizing don't cause the hurt in the first place.

reply

IT'S A NICE THOUGHT.

reply

No married man believes this is possible. Your wife will make you apologize for tons of things that aren't your fault. And if you're smart and want a peaceful home, you'll do it.

reply

And some preemptive apologies may be in order from time to time.

reply

I'm still learning that trick.

reply

"I'm also just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
Yah, like Julia Roberts would EVER utter this, even as a character

reply

"My momma always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.'"
Usually it says on the box.

reply

"Most kids are kind, but German kids are Kinder"
-BillHicksFan

reply

“You know how to whistle, don't you Steve? You just put your lips together, and blow.”
One of the dumbest famous lines ever

reply

It depends on what she meant by "blow". It's funny if she wanted him to leave i.e. "blow".

reply

"Oh, no, it wasn't the airplanes. It was Beauty killed the Beast."
No, you jackass, YOU killed Kong by capturing him and taking him to NYC to display in chains.

reply

Haha. You gotta lot of 'em.

reply

"Louie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship"
