WWE WrestleMania ticket price history:

The first night of WrestleMania 39 started at $67, with the highest ticket price around $16,000 and the second night of WrestleMania 39 started at $84, with the highest ticket price around $16,000.

While there isn't a direct line for the history of WrestleMania tickets, a set of tickets from an eBay auction could give us an indication of what a simple ticket was worth year-to-year. Some ranged from a low to medium price, depending on the section:

A ticket for WrestleMania I was worth $30
WrestleMania 2, located in multiple locations, was worth $15 in the Nassau Coliseum and the Rosemont Horizon (Allstate Arena)
A WrestleMania 10 ticket was worth around $75
A WrestleMania 15 ticket for one fan was around $100
A ticket for WrestleMania 20 was worth $200
Ticket prices for WrestleMania 30 ranged from $25 to $850
Ticket prices for WrestleMania 35 ranged from $35 to $1,000

Jesus, for $16K to watch this Live, I better be able to get a blowjob from Stephanie McMahon.. These prices are outrageous when compared to what I spent on tickets to see Billy Joel & STING and STYX & FOREIGNER

reply

And yet people will complain but still shell out the cash to attend anyway.

reply

Not from me Mustang, I'm a regular working person, I couldn't afford it if I wanted too.

I know I'll never go to Yankee Stadium or Madison Square Garden again either, I'm NOT draining my bank account for the month on a three hour event.

reply

Good for you. I'm not into sports but I won't go to anything overpriced, I haven't gone to a concert in decades. In Australia people complain about the price of tickets and food for the football and yet like good little lemmings they still shell out for the ticket and then overpay again for food and drinks. Start factoring in transport cost and parking and it seems a silly thing to do for something that can be watched for free on TV. In Australia anyway, I know in America it might be pay per view or whatever.

WTH is wrong with people?!?

I read an article this week that a cheap seat at the Super Bowl can go for $6K this year and average seats are between $10K and 12K!!!
Who would pay that, that's irresponsible madness.

reply

Most of that is Corporate people who pay this and write it off somehow at the end of the year

"Professional" wrestling is fake and always has been. The outcomes are predetermined. The wrestlers themselves admitted this in a New York court case around 1988 or so. The mats are designed to make a big loud sound, for entertainment purposes. The participants are strong and can get injured, but it is much like a soap opera. Why anyone would pay money for this is beyond me.

Real wrestling for points etc: Olympics, college, high school.

reply

And?? We get it.. You don't like Pro Wrestling.. Now what??

reply

I'll stick to a much more varied and exciting card the next time AEW loops around the West Coast, thanks.
