Nice.

I rate A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors 7.5/10 and it's my favourite Freddy movie. Unfortunately there are many other movies I rated much higher. so it doesn't make my list

That's fine, we all have our tastes and our ranking systems - A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 is also my favourite out of the lot. I don't really care all that much about ratings, I just picked the ones that came to mind because the fact I remember them probably means they're the ones I like best and I'd re-watch them any day. To compare, I used to love Lethal Weapon, but I couldn't tell you a thing about the movie today and I have no deep inclination to re-watch. Is it a better film than all the ones on the list? Probably, but that's why it didn't make the cut. Is that a valid system? It is for me.

Oh yeah, I do see what you mean. I was exactly like that before I started rating each film I see. Either way, my ratings are mostly based on how the movie made me feel. Not comparing it or analyzing it in depth or anything.

Great year. Movies like Predator, The Princess Bride, Full Metal Jacket, The Hidden, Bad Taste, Fatal Attraction, Angel Heart, Spaceballs, Radio Days & Near Dark are worthy of being ranked though I have my own taste and biases.
