What do real life "bleeding heart" liberals feel about action movies?

As well as any stories where bad guys often villains get defeated etc etc etc or have vengeance exacted on them?

If in REAL LIFE they are, at times notoriously known, for having way too much sympathy for criminal wrongdoers even if they know they are guilty, what and how do they feel in fiction, do they take villain's side, do they not cheer when in Die Hard or Lethal Weapon or any James Bond films hero wins?

And on the real life side, how do they live with themselves, and if others disagree, how do they explain themselves?

And should we really speak out against them and shame them or are they entitled to their opinions? Thanks.

P.S. HOW COME, even with their known existence, people who often despise the perpetrators don't even think twice if they should? Do some people just not CARE about the opinions of others? And are those liberals THEMSELVES so CERTAIN or do they, and other people, often change their minds? Cheers.

Would I also be correct IF...

I were to state that MOST of them don't even CARE for action movies and the lot and they don't ever project anything they see in films into real life, correct?

Another thing worth mentioning...

If I had their OFFICIAL views, I don't know if I would survive as people WILL tell me off BIG TIME, so I also don't share their views for OBJECTIVE REASONS also, in my family and society I was raised to have certain beliefs but not others, and feeling bad like that alone for guilty criminals was a big no no and massively frowned upon.

But thing is, I was at times told off for smaller reasons as well, and it made me feel down and whatnot at times too. But how do they live with themselves, if they don't have thick skin, per say?

Heck, I got told off here at times too and it made me feel down as well. I wasn't even always met with an understanding of someone who doesn't quite know better etc, then again, we all do at times.

But no one told them off or they don't care?

And are their views non-sensical as well, or do they make sense even if we don't agree?

reply

Chances are, they don't watch them. They're the types who watch shitty dramas, biographical films, and weird arthouse movies.

reply

Ah yes because mindless Die Hard and Action Spy movies are so much better!

OK folks, I or others, if they really want, no, NEED to, OFFICIALLY move this thread to the "Political" board, yes, they can.

BUT, having said that...

Can we and others PLEASE stay on TOPIC here, thanks. And I would like some opinion please on one group's cinematic views and if they really have it, OR, and it IS a possibility AS WELL, like, the fact that maybe those types of people aren't too into movies PERIOD, let alone, they sure as hell don't get any influences from them.

I also think that OK some of them MAYBE unpopular, but... Not all of them are all that bad. And does it even SURPRISE you to learn of their mere EXISTENCE or are YOU, personally, already USED to it? As in, it neither bothers you nor surprises you either. And as for surprising, maybe nothing ever even does, anymore, to you?

it was destined to happen. i didn't help it any. :) I'm out of it.

I got quite annoyed with Horton Hears a Who

I think it was the kangaroo character, she was a b***h throughout the whole movie, and then at the end, she gives a quick "sorry" and everyone says "everything is ok"

not really, you've been a b***h the whole movie

ps, no I'm not a bhl

What are you defining as "bleeding heart" liberals? I consider myself a liberal, and on the left.

>As well as any stories where bad guys often villains get defeated etc etc etc or have vengeance exacted on them?

Depends on the story.

Provide some examples of "criminal wrongdoers", if you please?

And I personally don't watch action romps.
