Post your crazy thoughts here.

I think Moviechat might be dying. We need more posters who are in the middle ground between
dry boring poster and ridiculously insane poster.

I don't see dead people. I like to watch pro wrestling, wtf is wrong with me? Sometimes when I am walking down the street and I see someone in front of me, I question whether if I punched the guy as hard as I could in the back of the neck if that would kill them - don't think about that too often.

As for MovieChat, I feel like there isn't nearly enough discussion on the movie boards. Seems like all the posting is in the general discussion. Or maybe the politics board, but haven't ever viewed that board.

YEAH...THE INDIVIDUAL MOVIE BOARDS ARE A WAITING GAME...BUT IF WE ALL START HITTING THEM MORE...THINGS CAN ONLY IMPROVE...I KEEP FORGETTING MYSELF...BUT I AM MAKING AN EFFORT.

reply

Good to hear! I try to post something or at least visit the board after watching a movie or finishing a show.

reply

Yep, I also try to post a little something on the board of every film I watch. I wish everyone would. In fact, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to make a topic here reminding and encouraging everyone to follow suit.

what the hell is the deal with bubblegum? what is this tasty treat that is collecting spit samples of everybody on the planet and then storing it in an indestructible goo that could easily be collected a century later?

reply

I don't think the forum is dying it is pretty active by forum standards these days. I sometimes wonder if the other boards that are virtually hidden should be more prominent. And I would love a search function for threads.

Every site is dying - being overrun by bots and nuts.

Hey wait, that's me.

reply

Not dying, but with the rest agreed!
Bots, nuts, trolls, socks, fakes.

You're only one of recently many, parkVerbot. 🚫

What does an insensitive male robot lover do?

Nuts and bolts.

ARE YOU CALLING ME DRY AND BORING?🤔

Hi. Long term lurker. New poster. As long as the old posts always remain the site will never die (hoping MC won't 'trim' the posts like IMDB did but I think they have been).

My crazy thought is that we're all being set against eachother so we don't see who is destroying us in front of our eyes. Imagine the fingers of a glove all arguing because the hand of those gloves are being paid to make the fingers argue and the arms are the 'elected' controllers. Meanwhile the shoulders are laughing all the way to the bank while the head is Satan the fag.

I’ve always thought that was who was in charge too.

reply

he should go back to lurking

reply

Haha! Yeah, there’s definitely some issues going on.

WHAT IN THE FUCK?🤔

I love my three boys and am so proud of them!

My oldest son (high-school sophomore) is playing both soccer (JV and Varsity) and cross-country this Fall. He had a cross-country meet this morning...he threw up with about 300 meters to go, but kept going and finished 9th with a time just over 18 minutes (He got a nice plaque as a result of his finish). He has soccer games Monday, Thursday, and Saturday this week, plus another cross-country meet on Wednesday (where he has a good chance of finally breaking the 18-minute barrier). This is a fairly typical week for him...I don't know how he does it.

My middle son (8th grader) is turning into an amazing piano player. I'm amazed at how great he's getting...he has a real talent for it and it's awesome to see him blossoming.

My youngest son had a soccer game this morning also (I went to my oldest son's meet, so my wife took him). They got beat, but he did really well. Unlike my oldest son (who's pretty driven), my youngest son is just so nonchalant about it. He loves science and math...he blows me away at how much he knows about outer space.

As for me...I have really struggled with my golf swing this Summer (hitting a snap hook with my driver off the tee...it's been awful). However, last Sunday afternoon, I finally found something with my swing and shot 37 for 9 holes (Par 35). I think the ball was too far forward in my stance, so I moved it back a bit and that really helped. Ball position, ball position, ball position...it's such a critical part of the golf swing!!
