What's Quentin Tarantino's magnum opus?

I'm gonna be asking this for some of my favorite directors. Some of them here & others on their individual boards.

Anyways, What's Tarantino's best work, for you?

Personally, it's a tie between Pulp Fiction & Reservoir Dogs. I think Pulp Fiction is the better written & more quotable film but Reservoir Dogs has the best performances.

Pulp Fiction was always my favorite until Hateful Eight came out, I also really enjoyed OUATIH...

I tend to go back & forth between RD & PF.

Ultimately, I favor RD..

reply

TBH, I thought The Hateful Eight was pretty darn lame.

I'm yet to see the "extended version" but it's still a solid 7 for me.

Wish Kurt Russell was the main though. Love SLJ & Walton Goggins is great but I wanted to see more of Kurt.

A great director with a great filmography.

Pulp Fiction is quintessentially Tarantino.

Reservoir Dogs for the win.. It really is well done.. Another underrated Gem is "JACKIE BROWN" with quite a Cast as well..

reply

Jackie Brown is underappreciated as hell. Didn't even know it was a Tarantino film when it came on TV.

Genuinely blew me away.

The soundtrack for the movie was awesome, Robert Forster was awesome, Bridget Fonda looked awesome, the whole movie was awesome and sort of swept under the rug because it was the movie that followed up an even more commercial movie in PULP FICTION so it stood no chance at dethroning it at the time..
