Few of the films listed say anything that I can relate to with respect to my relationship with my own brother. Presumably, the dynamic between brothers isn't interesting to filmmakers. They'd rather deal with other dynamics/types of characters, I guess. 🤷‍♂️

That said, I think one of the best films about brothers I've seen is Ordinary People, even though the film starts with one of the brothers already dead. It's about the resentment the surviving brother feels with respect to his mother's apparent favouritism for the deceased brother. Boyz N The Hood has a similar dynamic, with Ice Cube's character feeling jealousy towards his more successful 'model' brother (an athlete), and yet swearing revenge against the people who killed him, come the end of the movie.
