Yay or Nay? The backwards baseball cap

Yay. I don't like the bill of the cap in my face.

Signed, million man.

reply

No. Looks idiotic.

reply

I want to know why.

Signed, million man.

reply

It just does. What do you want me to say? What's the point of wearing one if you're not using the visor?

reply

What if it's in the way of what you need to see? I think it looks stupid the original way.

Signed, million man.

reply

DEPENDS ON YOUR AGE...I ALWAYS ROCKED MY CAPS BACKWARDS AND ANGLED DIAGONALLY...SOMEWHERE IN MY THIRTIES I SPUN EM AROUND AND WEAR THEM NORMAL NOW...FEEL LIKE A DUFUS IF I TRY AND TURN IT ROUND THESE DAYS.

reply

I'm mid 40s and have long hair and work on dirty shit. Is that acceptable?

Signed, million man.

reply

WORKS FOR ME...I ALSO WORK ON DIRTY SHIT BUT I NOW HAVE A SHAVED HEAD.

reply

That's funny cause I was shaved head for decades. Covid made me want to grow long hair.

Signed, million man.

reply

If it's to keep your hair out of your face (functionality) it's fine but for looks? No.

reply

I'll take it. Yeah i don't do it for looks but functionality like you said.

Signed, million man.

reply

Beat me to it, was just about to say the same thing. It’s something I did sometimes in my 20s and early 30s but now I only ever wear it the normal way.

I actually prefer bucket hats over caps anyway, better protection for the neck.. and here in Oz you need as much protection as you can get.

reply

The terry towelling bucket hats although they look ordinary were the best because you could soak them with water and stick them on your head for some delicious cooling. Very useful out on the golf course in summer.

reply

I have never worn a baseball cap.

reply

Cool, bro!

reply

Only way to wear it is backwards.

reply

Hey dude, you better step off

No baseball caps. You need a proper hat with a brim to protect you from the sun otherwise what's the point ?

reply

I wear the brim facing left when I'm driving. That's where the sun comes through the window.

Actually, even if I wasn't driving, I'd look cool no matter which way I wore it.
