I'll start with one I'd not heard before until recently, it's by Warren Zevon and from the 70's and mentions a guy named Freddie too, so I like to think it's a song about the Legendary John Deacon and Freddie Mercury!

this is actually one of my least favourite television tracks, but it's the first thing that popped into my head.
it does have some enjoyable guitar arsing around on it. but i'd rather listen to anything on marquee moon or adventure over this.

First time I've heard that one, on first hearing I'd give it 6.5, I listened to Part one instead though, it takes a while until the vocals, even on the 3 minute version.
Their members have some cool rock names, Billy Ficca, Jimmy Rip, and Richard Hell (Ex member).
ah, i just realized i forgot to rate it. i'd give it a 3/5 for the cool guitar playing.
shareI always liked the Hooters Johnny B song and all their music. The Men at Work song was catchy and he did some serious vocal gymnastics in that song. Chuck Berry created the ultimate rock song with Johnny B. Goode but I thought Judas Priest did an interesting cover that had a different sound.
