Pizza is not fast food.

It’s not!

reply

Mod pizza here...8 minutes 😊

reply

Not fast food if it’s not drive-through

reply

I can drive through Little Caesar's and always pick up a cheese and pep pizza w/o any wait.

reply

Little Sleazers is not pizza, it's more like a cheese bread masquerading as "pizza." And it's garbage.

reply

drive throughs are relatively recent. fast food was around long before drive throughs.

reply

So if I grab a banana from the gas station is that fast food

reply

that's a fruit. it's not prepared.

reply

They had drive-through on the Flintstones

reply

you can get a slice in two minutes

reply

It’s Dinosaur

reply

Brontosaurus burgers and ribs.

reply

I go in the pizza joint and say 'Hi Carlo, two slices of pepperoni' and I'm eating said slices in traffic two minutes later...I must disagree with you despite always agreeing with you, we are pretty well known for constantly getting along...some people are starting to talk:/

reply

If you walk right up then yes. Stupid. Carlo doesn’t like you anyway .

reply

Carlo is a jerk, stay away from anybody named Carlos...That company is just asking for trouble!

reply

So it is Carlo or Carlos . You have one scrabble letter left

reply

I never met a Carlo but I've met several Carlos's...
Those Carlos guys are trouble!

And don't get me started on Pedros...those guys will steal your tires!

reply

You live in New York and you’ve never had pizza either

reply

That's a nasty rumor to start, are you trying to get me thrown out of New York???

reply

Just depends where you get it. Fresh ordered, fresh made pizza with quality ingredients in a sit-down restaurant is not.

Places like Little Caesars, Dominos and Pizza Hut definitely are.

reply

Wrong . You’re answers are wrong

reply

Oh! Well gosh, ain't my face red.

reply

You may be right

reply

I worked at Pizza Hut in college, all the pizzas were made fresh, from scratch, every day. The only thing not made from scratch was the pizza sauce, they used canned tomato sauce and added herb packets.

reply

I don't know how long ago that was, but their dough is all frozen now, and pre-made into crusts in some commissary kitchen somewhere. And toppings are bought frozen in bulk. I never worked there, but I just read some testimonials from people who worked there as recently as 2019.

They might've been decent once, but they're garbage now.

reply

That's a shame. I haven't eaten at Pizza Hut in a long time, we don't have one here. There is a local place that was delicious pre-covid but have gone way downhill just like everything else.

reply

Places like Little Sleazers, Vomitnos and Pizza Butt are all garbage. So is Sloppa John's. Their so-called "pizzas" should go from the oven straight into the dumpster. The fact that you see their commercials multiple times during each quarter of an NFL game is a red flag. They are spending more money on advertising and silly gimmicks like "phone apps" and "pizza trackers" rather than on quality pizza.

If you want good pizza, find a local family-owned pizzeria or a small regional chain. These places still exist, and they are not "too expensive." Many of them have coupons or daily specials where you can get higher-quality food for the same price (or sometimes for less than) that you would pay at a garbage chain. Support your small businesses and local economy. Why give your hard-earned money to some giant corporate chain that treats its employees like dirt, and sells its customers processed slop, as it rakes in billions?

reply

I tend to agree because fast food usually relies strongly on the mass production of its key elements/ingredients, which pizza doesn't (to my knowledge).

reply

I ordered a pizza last week and it was at my door within 15 minutes.

So it’s not SLOW food.

reply

Precut hot dried-out slices are fast food.
