Smaller lesser known action films you enjoyed

I love the Mission Impossible and James Bond series, but also enjoy smaller action films, can you recommend some (good ones) released during the last decade 2010-2020, thanks:

The Raid & The Raid 2 (2011 & 2014 | Like 5 million for both)
John Wick (2014 | Keanu Reeves | 20 million budget)
Parker (2013 | Jason Statham, JLo | 35 million budget)
Dead Man Down (2013 | Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace | 30 million budget)
The American (2010 | George Clooney | 20 million budget) | Not much action though.
3 Days To Kill (2014 | Kevin Costner | 28 million budget)
November Man (2014 | Pierce Brosnan | 15 million budget)

reply

American assassin 2017 was alright.

The next three days 2010
Unknown 2011
Non-stop 2014

I really enjoyed the next 3 days. Brian dennehey had so much presence in his few scenes even though he barely spoke!
It was a good story, I might rewatch this.

reply

Def worth a rewatch

Colombiana is good.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) - 50 million budget, don't know if that's too high

I went into this movie expecting it to be garbage along the lines of Jack the Giant Slayer, but I found it to be surprisingly enjoyable.

reply

That movie is the bees knees. I went in expecting garbage, came out happy.

True stort, however unbelievable, I was in the cinema watching the trailer for Hansel grey witchhunters. And half way through I was like I bet you this is called (to my mate) Hansel Gretel:Witch Hunters. And low and behold.

Ong Bak (2003) - budget: $1.1 mil.

reply

It’s from 2002 but Equilibrium.
