What city do you live in?

I live in Pamela Anderson's hometown. Take a guess?

reply

Vancouver, BC

reply

We're not that far away from each other then.

reply

HaHa No I was referring to Pam Anderson. I live in Kansas close to Kansas City.

reply

I see, lol. But no, she's not from Vancouver though.

There's TWO Kansas Cities? I thought the only one was in Missouri.

reply

I live in the suburbs of KC but yes there are two Kansas Cities. Kansas City, KS is considered the poor side of town right next to Kansas City, MO.

reply

I see. I didn't know they overlapped between both States. That's fascinating. So, how does politics/government/schools work in overlapped cities? That must get confusing.

reply

They are two separate cities and two separate governments. It's not really confusing but don't worry most people who are not from the Midwest don't know about the two KC's.

reply

No clue. She's Canadian, right?

I live in the city where Lee Harvey Oswald spent a weekend in the summer of 1962 on his way back from Moscow.

reply

Yep.

reply

Lol, I just looked it up. Was it named after an actual person??? I kinda like the original name.

I also live in the city where Napoleon himself spent the night once. We really do attract the wrong kind of crowd.🤔

reply

I live in the city that was chosen as the perfect location for a film about the end of the world.

reply

Detroit, Michigan? Nice! I used to live there for a couple of years.

reply

No.

reply

Flint Michigan?

reply

No.

reply

Melbourne, Michigan?

😉

reply

Heh. I love how we both responded (almost simultaneously) with cities from Michigan. Goes to show you what a sh!thole Michigan is.

I've been to Flint before. It's BAD. But I love Grand Blanc.

reply

My last guess: Fairbanks, Alaska?

reply

No. Melbourne, Australia and the film was ' On the Beach ' (1959) with Ava Gardner and Gregory Peck.

reply

I see. So, it's summer there right now is it? Or Spring? They have reverse seasons compared to us.

reply

Spring has sprung but it's still cool. The Antarctic hasn't stopped spreading the love yet.

reply

You can fly to Antarctica from Australia, correct? Just judging from a map, Australia would be a good rendezvous point to there.

reply

Yes although I don't know why anyone would want to. Just stick your head in the freezer, much cheaper.

reply

Well, my goal someday is to visit all 7 continents. You know, bragging rights.

reply

Bristol ?

reply

Nope

reply

I live in a small Australian costal town with a population of around 2000 people. You never would have heard of it 😃

reply

You're from Skanktown, BC?
