Better Batman Film: Batman (1989) OR The Dark Knight (2008)?

For me, Batman (1989) wins and it's not even a competition.

Batman (1989) has the better Batman, the better Joker, the better Batmobile and the better musical score. I also love the noir atmosphere, the Anton Furst set designs, and the German expressionist influence of the movie.

20 years from now, Batman (1989) will still be remembered as an important piece in cinema history and The Dark Knight (2008) will have already long faded into obscurity by that point.
