CLOSED ***Baker's Dozen: Movies where the villain is (or could be) the one who's right***

The main character is the good guy, the villain is the bad guy, isn't it? Wait... what if the villain was the one that could be right at the end of the day?

Movies where the villain is the one that is (or could be) right. Explain why.

1. A Few Good Men (1992) - Nicholson makes a few good points in his speech https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hopNAI8Pefg

Karate Kid (1984) -- Martin Kove, in the end his teachings may save these kids their lives!

Feel free to insert Karate Kid III instead, since it's so popular here on these boards.

Actually, that's the foundation of the Cobra Kai series, that continues the story years later, and where who was the good guy and who was the villain becomes more of a gray zone.

Wow..I had no idea that actually existed. I always wondered what happened to Johnny.

After all this time?

reply

It seems to be more difficult than the usual topics.

reply

Maybe because it's not very clear. I mean, might or could be...

reply

I included "could be" to avoid arguments. Whether the villain was right or not is often something debatable. You think that villain was right? Perhaps other people disagree, so let's accept it as a "could be".

reply

Ah, I see.
