I was watching this movie 'Clemency' and there is a scene where a character is parked and listening to something on the radio which is upsetting her. She turns the radio off and then turns the car off and gets out. I am thinking no one would would turn the radio off.

I used to... I tend to listen to the radio rather loud, so I would turn it off so I wouldn’t get blasted when I got back in and turned the car on.
My current car has a radio that automatically comes on at a pre-set low volume, no matter how loud it was when I turned the car off, so I don’t turn it off any more.
I don't now but I used to when I owned much older cars...it's what the neighborhood dads all told the kids to do
