They are so stuck in the 80s
All they play on the stereo is Born To Run, they wear acid washed jeans, they sport Ray-Bans...uggh, Martians are just trying too hard to be cool

They are smart. They know the 80's was the peak of evolution and things gradually went downhill after that. No reason to move forward.
