😘 Can't wait! Only 14 days and we'll be moved in. It'll be amazing to have a real kitchen again, feel safe, and have enough space again to feel comfortable. Woo!

Not having a space that's completely my own was tolerable for the past 6 months, but with this, sharing a "kitchen" and having it in a laundry room with 4 other people coming in and out made me realise in this case having control of my environment was critical. The daughter/step daughter told me she was going to be coming in daily. NOPE.

Anyway, yeah, soon come, and it'll be great (all except for the packing up and moving part 😄).

Thanks :). I agree, can't get enough positive news these days. A friend told me last week that he'd fallen in love! He'd been alone for quite a while so this came as a big, very happy, surprise 🎉

If things worsen for a bit and the shelter-in-place/stay at home order gets a little tighter, it'll help so much to have more than 2 small rooms to do it in. I was getting somewhat claustrophobic.

Thanks, GE 😊. It hasn't been the easiest past few years of my life, that's for sure. I am over the moon that this kind of fell in my lap, and all fell into place so easily. At last.

It also has spectacular views every which way you look, which wasn't necessary but sure is a nice bonus. If I've got to be holed up, may as well have beautiful things to look at. Oh, and I'll have space to set up an area to paint them! I've wanted to do that here, but without clearing off the desk/keyboard/etc every time, there's no place to do it.
