With everything that's happening, what is happening with those who've died? There's no way to have a proper funeral it seems, so are they just being buried or cremated according to the family's wishes with little or no ceremony? Everything is so weird and the thought of people possibly not being able to say goodbye to loved ones in whatever way that may comfort them the most seems especially sad.

Depends on the location. Some places have no funerals while others are limiting the number of family members attending. Small town in Italy is overwhelmed so trucks are moving the coffins to another area.

They are probably being autopsied(?) and then laid to rest according to their wishes. Pretty sure the virus dies with the host. I suppose memorials can be skyped.
