Pride and Prejudice 1940.
I really like this version for the acting, but Greer Garson was way too old to be cast in this role. She does a great job with the witty dialogue. IMDB says Vivien Leigh was considered for her role, I wish they had gone that way.
I finished watching The Thing About Harry and enjoyed it. Here is my review for anyone who is interested:
Directed by Peter Paige, this romantic comedy stars Jake Borelli (from Grey's Anatomy), Niko Terho and Britt Baron. It is about Sam, an openly gay man who has to share a long car ride with Harry, who used to pick on him in high school. Sam discovers that Harry has changed quite a bit and has now come out as pansexual. Can these two former enemies become friends? Or maybe even something more? I enjoyed The Thing About Harry and found it a charming and sweet film. The lead actors do a good job and have nice chemistry with each other. It could have been a little funnier and it is somewhat predictable (as many rom-coms are), but I still had a good time with Harry and Sam. My rating is an 8/10.
Off topic a bit. I read a great book a few weeks ago.. The Mating of Michael by Eli Easton.. You might enjoy it. It was one of the best books I'd read in a while.
From IMDb:
In a post-apocalyptic world, in which a large part of the population consists of demented and deformed mutants being kept in reservations, a man embarks upon visiting the ruins of a museum buried under the sea which can only be accessed during low tide.
