On most nights I will start a movie when I sit down for dinner. So I'd say I easily watch at least six movies a week.
However, a friend of mine who is also into film but who has a family to look after and other demands for his attention, told me today that he's lucky if he watches two films in a week.
So I figured I'd poll the MC crowd and see what we come up with. So how about it? How many movies would you say you watch per week, on average?
I have a family and after they go to bed I try to watch 1-2 a night during the week.
shareIt varies widely as the patterns of my life can fluctuate widely from week to week, month to month and year to year. There are some weeks when I have flicks rolling all day every day, and some where I don't have time to see anything. Something like 20 / week isn't uncommon though.

I might catch 2 or 3 a week but movies are still a passion for me and I feel pretty comfortable in my movie knowledge. I'd like to watch more, but life, you know how it is!

I know if I watched that many then between work and movie watching I wouldn't get anything else done.
my pace is usually 2 movies on a week day, 4 or 5 on a weekend.
i'm semi-retired, i guess you'd call it, so i have more free time than most. i do keep a part time job, but i'm usually done with that by noon, at which point i'm off to fill my day with the things i like to do.
i usually read for an hour or so after lunch, then take a jog/walk/bike ride (depending on the conditions) for some exercise, come home & read a bit more, then watch two movies in the evening.
A ball park figure for me is 14 per week.
