I loved King Kong! "It wasn't the plane that killed the ape, it was love."

reply

It wasn’t the airplanes, it was beauty killed the beast.

Fay Wray, the actor who played Anne in the original 1933 King Kong was slated to deliver that line but passed away before production began.

Ms. Wray passed away in 2004. ❓❓❓ 🙄

reply

Yes? And Kong was in production since Return of the King wrapped. Trust me Jackson stated this fact himself in the special features.

Right you are MovieBuff224!

reply

Lol I’ve watched that movie way too many times

Why didn’t you say in the past 50 years? :)

Ah I see what you did there, I love Raiders but Kong is still King.

Which of the 63 versions are we speaking of?

2005?

reply

yes

reply

Yes amazing how well it holds up even after 14 years. It still has not been surpassed in terms of sheer scope and theatrical experience.

reply

I disagree. It is a very good adventure movie, but I think Donkey Kong is the best adventure movie ever.

reply

We'll have no monkey business here!

reply

Lol

reply

I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't rate it as highly as you.
