Texts vs Voicemail

Which do you prefer -- sending or receiving?

Me, voicemail. I'm no good at texting. My kingdom for a keyboard!

Texts are definitely preferable.

i set up voicemail. but i never use it. so many unanswered VM's . not that im post haste replying to txts but they are in the place im more likely to see, therefore more likely to reply to. but you can get Voicemails that convert to txt immediately. so that fixes the whole question. but i dnt do that.

I definitely prefer voice. My Sister In-Law however won't even pick up the phone ringing anymore and her voicemail is full because she doesn't know the passcode. However if you Text her, she responds within seconds.

I prefer regular email.

Texting as long as it’s not a back & forth confab. If so, enough... and one of us will place the call. Texting in order to reach grandkids if they’re at work. They aren’t permitted to use their phones so I text “Please call me”. There are times if important, I leave voicemails and follow up with texts.

I prefer receiving texts instead of voicemails from business contacts. Most talk so darn fast and do not enunciate their info which makes it hard to understand with my hearing loss. Trying to understand these Mississippi folks is a hoot! I downloaded a Voicemail app which prints the voicemail. Sometimes it comical due to the computer not understanding. :-)
