Help with an old TV show...

I remember the theme lyrics - " Just around the corner, maybe a mule nibbling cactus....", with animation.

Thats all I recall.

I believe it was (maybe) a Sunday morning PBS show late 60s/early 70s.

Hello! I came upon your question as I was querying a similar one about the same show.
I am 59 years old and grew up in the New York City TV area.
Here's what I *think* I remember, but I can find nothing online about this show:
---I think it was on Sunday morning - I think I remember watching it after Davey and Goliath or something like that
---It was called "Just Around the Corner" (I think)
---I remembered the lyrics as :"What's around the corner? Maybe a mule with ???? sunglasses..." I can hum the tune of the song.
---There was a male host and then a bunch of kids. They all wore sneakers. The male host had curly hair and wore glasses.
---They had a segment every week where they took turns leaping over a gymnast horse

That's it. Maybe we are the only two people on earth who remember the show. I think it may have been a local show.

It was an educational science show but I forgot the shows hosts name

I was looking for this just now myself and came across this thread. I can't offer any help, and I remember even less of the show than you guys. Mostly I recall bits of the melody of the theme show, and the fact that I really liked it; also my parents I think were friendly with a woman who was a regular on the show, knew her from the beach. I really wanted to be on it -- seem to remember they had half a dozen kids on asking questions or something -- but as I recall, the woman's kid was a really annoying brat, & that had something to do with why they never asked me on the show. Guess I was pretty little.

I'd rather play a guessing game on who you really are. Obviously you created a separate account just to bring this thread back up, why I don't know.
