reply

I haven't listened to stuff this hard in a while, but it is very good.

reply

Oh man that sounded good today! I’m glad you enjoyed it, they’re beautiful.

reply

The finger picking guitar intro leading to really hard electric guitar through me. I think i will recommend these guys to my Xhus he would like them. The sound is solid, and I'm very picky about what I listen to. Its a little too Metal to be close to my favorite college band Alice in Chains.

reply

Alice In Chains were really good, they just weren’t very good live. At least the couple times I saw them. I saw them when they first hit the scene at “clash of the titans” tour with slayer, anthrax, megadeth and testament but they didn’t do well. Hope they improved as they got better. Sad most are dead now but shit, I guess I’m old!

reply

You and me both. I sent myself an email about that group, coheed and cambria, So I wouldn't forget. why have I never heard of these guys? Are they new or old? I thought I'd heard everything at this point.

reply

They’ve been around since the late 90s. I’m not sure why they never caught on, they’re super talented. I think they have a pretty loyal underground following.

reply

I never got to see any of these guys live. I was so close though. I lived in Seattle from 1993 until just after Kurts Death in 94. I remember hearing it on the News there and thinking about going downtown to the Vigil but didn't.

reply

That’s crazy you didn’t! That would’ve been prime time to see the pumpkins and so many other greats, especially in Seattle! I was in the Atl scene in those days, man I got to see some really memorable shows. Never much dug Nirvana though.

reply

But you saw Alice. How.. They had like 5 concerts total.

reply

Lol cause they weren’t good! I was super young the first time, it was like right after man in the box was released. They did lollapalooza too, no? Thought I remembered seeing them at one of those too.

reply

There's a special category for people who got to see..Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice, Soundgarden. I was so close to this time but didn't get to see any of them live. Sucks.

reply

I feel you. Especially cause you were right in the heart of it at the most important time!! Ugh! My biggest regrets for shows are Pantera ( literally always grounded EVERY time they came!) Never saw primus ( there’s still time) and once had tickets to a Richie Havens show the year before he died and I didn’t go!! So stupid.

reply

You really like the hard stuff. I totally respect Pantera and Primus.. My name is mud, a classic.
I'm surprised as you got older you haven't softened your music. In college for me the louder the better. I remember sitting next to the speaker when Alice in Chains came on. But now I enjoy it, but I've mellowed. What does Froggy light listen to?

reply

I’m all over the place, I love music. Froggylight would be the Middle East, Radiohead, radicalface is good, band of horses....

reply

There is no Froggy light..

reply

Ya know tcrum, I was really lucky though. My parents were so cool and didn’t believe in censorship and all that, so my dad had no problem driving us to slayer shows at 12! I got to start very early.

reply

Do you have any idea how much lsd was floating around at those shows in the 90s?! It was easier for me to get a sheet of acid than a pack of cigarettes in those days. Good fucking times man.

reply

But answer the question .. Whats froggys relax music.. It can't all be Corn!

reply

Go back, I answered you miss!

reply

This seems like something you'd like? https://youtu.be/UIuOWv-mLP4

reply

Dude, fnm is one of my all time favorites. They’re still fucking awesome. Saw them open for Metallica back when Epic came out and again later. The best.

reply

I had this song on my playlist before all this shit. How about this one its on my playlist too. https://youtu.be/UNq9gmY_Oz4 Its not GreenDay I just love that Guitar.

reply

My xhus plays guitar in a band and he was like why do you like this song its so easy. But that riff guitar rocks.

reply

Girl, I fall for the musicians too!

reply

Yah his band singers is unreal but not cute.. He reals me in with guitar. Pointless as I tell him.

reply

Irresistible. My current was a singer in a death metal band. Such a hottie. Sweet too.

reply

I keep telling him guitar is pointless. But he can sing the cure Love Song I think thats why I stick around.

reply

They just know how to say all the right shit. Then they pull out the serenade. It’s over.
