It's so obvious. I hate it when movie egalitarians try to say that I just don't remember all the bad movies from before. No. I remember the good movies, and there aren't anymore. Action is completely dead.

Kinda??????? I think the world still produces the same dozen or so good movies a year. They just make SO MANY more movies than they used to it seems like a sea of shit. But we're still getting the same amount of good flicks we always have.

You're right. Great films are still being made, roughly at the same rate, but there is also a greater quantity of rubbish and formulaic pap, and it's overshadowing the quality stuff.

I agree completely! We need more comedies, especially in this day and age. The last film I saw in a theater was Lion. That was several years ago. Bring back the screwball comedies!
