So which are the greatest movie taglines in you opinion?

While not a masterpiece of a movie i thought the different ones used for Casper was very nice.

Seeing is believing.
Haunting season opens this summer.
Get an afterlife.
No such thing as ghosts?

I feel they aren't putting as much heart into this part of a movies release nowadays. It's just generic advertisement and not as memorable or creative.

Spielberg has that habit of making his monsters just a bit to likeable, it's the same with the rex in Jurassic Park. Yeah, i know he only directed first Jaws, but that movie had the same problem.

reply

It was, but it was all downhill from there. Not even the great Michael Caine could save Jaws: The Revenge. Tagline — “This time it’s personal.”

This one always stuck with me, from the so-bad-it's-good Vanilla Ice movie "Cool As Ice":

When a girl has a heart of stone, there's only one way to melt it. Just add Ice.
