Any of the Miss Havisham portrayals in versions of 'Great Expectations. Particularly Martita Hunt in the 1946 film.

My favourite screen spinster is the sleuth Jane Marple. I am a great fan of Margaret Rutherford's Marple series of the early 1960s.
