Why does this forum mimic IMDB's old forums, right down to the post signatures that look like part of the posts (I'm annoyed every time I accidentally read someone's signature for the 10th+ time)? There are several great forum software options that have more featues and are more familiar so why use this?

shareSoftware can always be improved. The amount of subforums is probably the biggest problem since it's way ahead of demand and posters are thinly spread across all those interest boards.

Signatures are the most idiotic things. But I like these forums. One problem though is that when nesting gets deep the width of the window becomes unusably thin.
