Obi-Wan Kenobi movie on the way

I'm pretty psyched about this:

Another star wars...they have too much money at their disposal...

reply

This is crazy. What's next? A Yoda movie?

reply

Making a Yoda movie, a possibility there is.

reply

Yep, and after seeing Darth Vader in action in Rogue One, a Darth Vader movie as well. :)

reply

A Vader feature or series would be awesome. They could follow him hunting the remaining Jedi.

It would also be cool if he got into a situation where he becomes the good guy (relatively speaking) pitted against some gangsters or slavers and then delivering some sweet dark side justice.

reply

Exactly, the Great Jedi Purge--a very dark time for the Jedi, and it would highlight even more how vicious Vader was before the events of A New Hope.

reply

And he had one scene...even that one was remastered.

reply

Pretty good scene, though. (He was actually in two -- a scene with Krennic at Vader's "castle" on Mustafar, and the scene at the end.)

reply

Yes...that short discussion with that commander...of course.

reply

But Episode I-III are basically Vader movies already...

reply

Very true, and I always considered Luke, Leia, and Han as the main characters of the Classic Trilogy. Just seeing Vader mow down regular non-Jedi soldiers for the first time was something I only read about in books or comics until RO, so this is something I feel can be explored greatly during the Jedi Purge and other events between III and RO/ANH.

Hm. This could be interesting. Would it be before or after Anakin?

reply

It think before...it's sounds logical.

reply

Yeah. It could be after, when he's hanging out on Tatooine being a hermit, but I think it makes more sense to be when he's training with Qui Gon.

reply

Well Leia, after what i've seen the latest installements,i lost faith for it.

reply

I doubt we will see Liam Neeson again, but I would love that.

reply

[deleted]

I agree. Ewan McGregor has expressed interest in returning to the role.

I might go as far as to say that he was the best thing in the prequels. He did an especially masterful job considering that he had to fight through cheesy and often nonsensical dialogue ("It's over Anakin. I have the high ground.")

reply

[deleted]

No, Jar Jar Binks is the best thing in the prequels.

Hey there Bubba, don't think you've ever made a comment to me that wasn't just random nonsense.

You're very committed to the cause though,I admire that.

Are you one of Ben's flying under the radar?

reply

I don't really keep track of who I respond to. Some days I just like saying random things.

reply

Me too.
