At the movies right now. Should I watch Atomic Blonde or Detroit?

??

reply

No,I don't think it's worth it😉

reply

Oh? Tomb Raider isn't worth it.

Well Atomic Blonde was worth it. Charlize Theron is a total badass in this.

reply

You didn't play the 2013 video game do you,Barclays?...BTW,Milla is more badass then Charlize😉

reply

After watching Atomic Blonde, Charlize is the queen. Her fighting looked very natural unlike Mila.
And yeah I played the first Tomb Raider game. Totally not worth it in my opinion. Lara could only do a few tricks.

reply

The first Tomb Raider game came out in 1996😉i'm talking about A SURVIVOR IS BORN,she's still a kid in that one😉

reply

No. Never played that. Not interested in it either.

reply

Well,it's an adaptation after the reboot...great game😉

reply

Well Charlize is now a bonifide female action star set to over top Mila, Jennifer Lawrence, Sigourney Weaver and Angelina Jolie.

reply

I don't think so,Barclays...I admitt,in retribution that fight scene between Alice and Jill was more like a dance, but in the final chapter...was more realistic😉

reply

Have you even watched Atomic Blonde? I don't think you have the right to argue which actress is better when you haven't even seen what I'm talking about.

reply

Well,Barclays...i've seen the trailers and that it's enough for me...I think I do have the right to argue because I studied how Milla do her fighting scenes with charlize performance in action movies😉

reply

If you saw Atomic Blonde you would think differently. I changed my mind based off Charlize's performance in Atomic Blonde. She kicked major ass. And she did using all types of things as weapons. The brutality of it all was impressive.

reply

You didn't saw the final chapter,do you,Barclays😉

reply

I did.

reply

And...

reply

And she kicked major zombie ass. But Charlize kind of topped that in Atomic Blonde. Charlize plays a trained human assassin. Milla's character in RE is an enhanced hybrid humanoid. Not really a fair comparison dontcha think?

reply

"Enhancend human oid hybrid"...I don't think you understand what Alice was,Barclays😉

reply

Oh? The T-virus didn't turn Alice into something other than human and wasn't she a clone in the first place? She had enhanced abilities that were the result of genetic modification. I don't think you understood what Alice was. So you can't really compare Alice to. Lorraine.

reply

Alice was the clone of Alicia Marcus, the daughter of the founder of umbrella corporation,James Marcus...In the first movie she wasn't infected with the virus until the end after she and Matt made it out from the Hive...if you saw the movie, you'll noticed that she was trained to be a soldier..."you are a security officer, put here to protect the entrance to the hive."😉

reply

Okay you didn't need to write all that. The first movie Alice fought like a regular soldier but she was always a clone. Lorraine fights better than Alice did before Alice was generically modified.

I win, you lose.

reply

Ah,Barclays...you are wrong...if you saw the final chapter, then you know that Alice had only small traces of the virus, she wasn't the...superhuman that she was in apocalypse...and still Alice had the most badass fight scenes in the final chapter...maybe it was too fast for you to notice😂😂😂

reply

The T-Virus wasn't what gave Alice superhuman abilities. Are you going to continue arguing what you know nothing about? I mean, REALLY?! For God's sakes man. Have you no dignity? No shame?

reply

Ah,Barclays...are you starting to be mad? Unfortunetly for you,I know exactly what i'm talking about.I watched resident evil since 2002 and I began to understand Alice as no one else😉

reply

Okay then you know that Alice became a mutant in one of the prior movies, not The Final Chapter. I thought you knew all about Alice. Hmm?😐

reply

I know all about Alice,Barclays..."I became a freak."
"No.You are not mutation,you're evolution."😉

reply

Alice fanboy...you know Alice. I believe that. You've studied those movies. Alice became a superhero. But you don't know Lorraine. Lorraine got freaky with another female spy. It was kind of sexy.
But Lorraine kicked ass without having superhero powers like Alice. If you like ass kicking female leads then you'll like Atomic Blonde. The fight scenes are done very well.

reply

Atomic Blonde

reply

And this is where it leads...getting frisky with another woman...oh,well...it's not a party until something gets broken.

reply

To be fair, Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss character isn't REALLY an action character. She shoots people with arrows and cleverly used a knife to cut down a nest of Tracker Jackers(Modified wasp like insects) on top of a group of people who were trying to kill her and one of them died, but she isn't really an action star. Katniss got her ass beat by a YOUNGER and SMALLER girl named Clove at the one on one fight at the Cornucopia in the First Hunger Games and was only saved because Thresh killed Clove to avenge Rue's death.

reply

I was talking about the X_men movies. You remember those right? They're action movies.

reply

Hahaha,Kentry...even Lara Croft is way better then Katniss

reply

If you're just looking to be entertained, Atomic Blonde.

If you want to see great film-making, and don't mind being depressed for the rest of the day, Detroit.

reply

I was highly entertained by Atomic Blonde. Intially, I purchased a ticket to see Detroit because I wanted to see good film making and an original story. I saw the trailers and they looked good. I read reviews for Atomic Blonde and they were mediocre so that's why I purchased ticket for Detroit, but when I was sitting outside the theater waiting for Detroit to start, I heard all the fight sequences with music playing outside of the theater for Atomic Blonde. It had me so intrigued that I went inside the theater to watch some of it. I loved the style and direction. In the end, I changed my mind, waited until the next showing of Atomic Blonde. As I watched the audience leave the theater of Detroit, they looked depressed. I wondered why and just assumed that it was a bad movie. So maybe I made the right choice since you just said that Detroit was depressing so the audience was depressed. Lol
I'll go see Detroit another time. Thanks.
