Long Lasting Rock Groups From The 1960s

Listening to the CLASSIC ROCK channel of the MUSIC CHOICE collection has reminded me of the many ensembles that imitated the Beatles--such as Herman's Hermits and its THERE'S A KIND OF HUSH, ALL OVER THE WORLD TONIGHT--; and how most of said ensembles closed shop after a few years.
Which groups of the 1960s are still around? There are the Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Grateful Dead, and the Who; are there any others? Am I right in assuming that there aren't this many? (Hijo del Cid holds up the fingers of both his hands)

Still existing with that band name, or still together with original members?
A lot of bands have had deaths so even if they still exist, it's not really the same band.

Pink Floyd -- just released an album, their last, but Gilmour just released a solo album, and Roger's album will be out this year. There are 3 tracks (short clips) on Youtube, and the music is great, which was my only knock on Roger's last couple albums, not enough attention to the music.

WOW, I'm amazed that so many of my contemporaries--I was born 18 September 1954--are still around! Maybe I'll still manage to meet some of them; meanwhile please accept my most heartfelt thanks.
