GOT board isnt doing too good.
Nobody is there except me.I think the posters try but I feel its going I don't know.Do ya think its the first to go?I hate to see it. seems like a nice easy board.

TMDB is flashier but it is hard to find the discussion boards - I agree it has come down between moviechat and TMDB

shareOne problem I can see is that one reason the IMDB boards were popular was because people visiting IMDB "accidentally" stumbled upon the forums. With MovieChat.org you don't have the same free advertisement, so people would have to be specifically searching for a movie discussion board in order to find this site and participate in it. This might prevent it from taking off.

Jim even said that he'd do everything he can to keep the site up and running. He's almost constantly working on new updates.
Times change. Not to be an ingrate, but....
OTOH, what do you really need - you get it here, discussion boards for just about every film ever made, the imdb archive, moderation keeping the trolls at bay, a decent crew of regulahs.
If I'm being honest, there isn't much to complain about.
Googled "film discussion sites", moviechat was the 2nd entry, so anyone interested can easily find the place.
